Monday, after I saw that the Dutch soccer team had won the game, I called my sister Marja, and we talked as true soccer specialists (NOT) about the game
It was nice and funny to talk excitedly about something someone else also likes so much. Eight teams now remain to play the quarter finals. Of course, I hope the Dutch will win again! I will have to work Friday morning when ESPN will broadcast it, so I’ll will record it and watch it later that day.

Yesterday, finally I got Ryan and Dan to watch the soccer match between Team USA and Ghana with me. I enjoyed it a lot to watch it with them, but I felt so sad that the USA team lost. The Ghanian’s players were better and also much ruder. The American Dream did not work during this match, that is for sure. Although I have not seen the other games, I saw a glimpse of the Mexico-Argentina during a short break at work.

Today was a nice day. In the morning, I cleaned the downstairs area and checked the soccer game between Holland and Cameroon. First it was a bit confusing which channel covered the match, but then I stumbled into the live broadcast. It was again a great game, and as you all probably know, the Dutch team won! Yeahhhhhh!

It is Wednesday evening, 10.45 PM. We are just back from the gym, and I feel my muscles. We haven’t been that consistent at going to the gym lately. We both felt a bit “weak”.
Monday I planted the new plants and they look pretty! I cannot wait to see the small bougainvillea’s grown. It took me 4 hours to get the old plants out of the front yard planter, scoop a lot of old dirt out, and put the new plants in the new fresh dirt.

Friday and Saturday, I had to work the late shifts. It was busy, and the time passed by quickly. Saturday morning, I watched the Holland-Japan soccer game while wearing my orange shirt!
