Spaghetti a la Spinach with Bacon

Ingredients:

  • 2 onions, diced
  • 2 garlic gloves, pealed and diced
  • black pepper and salt
  • 1/2 lbs sliced bacon
  • 1/2 lbs sliced mushrooms
  • 1 lbs spinach
  • 1/3 cup of half and half cream
  • 3 oz demi aged shredded cheese (Prolovone cheese)
  • 7 oz broiled and drained Spaghetti or Angel Hair

Directions:

  1. Cook the bacon in a skillet without butter.
  2. Add the garlic and onion, stir it for 5 minutes.
  3. Add the champignons, stir it for another 2 minutes.
  4. Add salt and black pepper.
  5. Add the frozen spinach with the half and half cream, cook and stir it slowly till the spinach is defrosted. (you can also defrost the spinach in advance in the microwave. Then drain the water from it) .
  6. Mix de spinach sauce with the Spaghetti.
  7. Serve it with the cheese.
